Donostia Hardneck Garlic Poppy Mid to late season varietyDonostia Red is a hardneck Creole garlic that originates from the Basque Country and adjacent Spanish French regions. Bulbs produce 812 crimson magenta cloves with white outer wrappers. The cloves have a strong, complex heat. Creole types have the longest storage potential amongst the hardneck garlics (which have shorter longevity than softneck types), and will thrive warm winter climates. Grown by Cacia Huff at Feral Farm, Applegate Valley, Oregon.
